Chief Executive Officer
Sidharth Seth
Seth is a founding member of SMI. He served as a member of one the elite special forces in India for 15 years and is currently in his 12th year of his U.S. federal law enforcement career. Seth has over 30 years of experience in the private security sector. Notably, he was a member of the Indian National Judo Team, representing his country in world and continental level tournaments. Seth is also instructor certified in BSIS baton and chemical agents, showcasing his expertise in close quarter combat and his ability to effectively protect VIP's.
Chief Financial Officer
Daniel Farahbakhsh
Daniel is a founding member of SMI. With over 20 years of experience in the private security sector. His extensive experience has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Notably, Daniel's previous role as a supervisor on a federal contract for the Department of Homeland Security has further deepened his understanding of security operations. Demonstrating his unwavering dedication to professional growth, Daniel has obtained instructor certifications in a range of areas, including BSIS baton, exposed firearm permits, chemical agents and NRA for law enforcement.
Training Director
Phil Nash
Phil is a retired police officer, working his over 30 year career in Monterey County for three different departments. Phil has extensive training in the use of firearms, less lethal devices, edged weapons, chemical agents and active shooter response. He has been instructor certified by the FBI, Gunsite, and the NRA for law enforcement, as well as BSIS for California security guard exposed firearm permits. Along with the instructor ratings, Phil was also the precision rifleman for the department's Special Response Team, a Field Training Officer and bicycle patrol officer.
